Camper Expectations

Camp Schedule and Policies

  • Drop-off: Begins at 8:00 AM. No earlier drop-offs are permitted.

  • Pick-up: Ends at 4:00 PM.

  • Late Pick-up Fees:

    • $10 for the first 15 minutes after 4:00 PM, plus $1 for each additional minute.

    • Payment is required before the camper returns to camp. Non-payment may result in suspension until the balance is cleared.

    • Extended day pick-up ends at 5:30 PM, with a $25 late fee applied for any late pick-ups.

If a child is not picked up on time and there has been no communication or family emergency, child services may be contacted.

Behavior Management

Camps by KT promotes a positive environment through clear expectations and reinforcement. We use a three-strike behavior management system:

  1. Verbal warning.

  2. Timeout and discussion with a counselor.

  3. Meeting with the camp head, with parents notified.

Continued issues may result in suspension without a refund.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Immediate suspension or expulsion may occur for:

  • Physical violence.

  • Racist behavior.

  • Severe bullying or harassment.
    No refunds will be issued for suspensions or expulsions.

Celebrating Success

To encourage positive behavior, we recognize outstanding campers with weekly "Camp Champ Awards" for exemplifying our values of excellence, respect, and kindness.

Additional Policies

Technology-Free Zone:
Camps by KT is a technology-free zone. Devices brought to camp must remain stored away in bags.

Forgotten Lunch Policy:
If a camper forgets their lunch, parents will be notified. If unable to bring lunch, Camps by KT will order lunch, and a $10 fee will be applied.

Forgotten Sock Policy:
Socks may be required at certain camp locations. If forgotten, a $5 fee will be assessed for a new pair.

Medical & Special Needs

Staff members are not trained to manage special medical needs and will not administer medications. Campers must be potty-trained to attend.

Camp Attire

  • Camp shirts are recommended daily for easy identification.

  • Camp shirts are mandatory on field trip days.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

  • Cancellation: Must be requested in writing at least 14 days before the camp week. Requests received later will be eligible for a credit only.

  • Transfers: Deposits can be transferred to another camp week if requested in writing at least 14 days in advance, subject to availability.

Inclement Weather & COVID-19 Policy

  • Weather: No refunds for camp sessions canceled due to weather, but full credit will be provided.

  • COVID-19: Camps by KT follows established safety protocols to promote the well-being of all participants. However, participation in camp activities carries an inherent risk of exposure to illness. Please note that there is no mask policy in place, and refunds will not be provided based on this or any other safety measure.

Sign-Out & Custody Protocol

  • Only authorized individuals can pick up campers, with ID required.

  • Changes to authorized pick-up individuals must be submitted in writing.

  • Failure to follow the sign-out procedure may result in suspension.

Restroom Accident Policy

  • Campers must be potty-trained. Two accidents within a week may result in unenrollment.

Special Needs & Medical Authorization

Camps by KT staff cannot accommodate special medical needs or administer medication. In case of emergencies, appropriate actions will be taken, and parents will be contacted.

Waiver of Liability & Release

Participation involves certain risks. By enrolling, parents assume responsibility for any injuries and release Camps by KT from liability.

Photo Release

Images taken during camp may be used for promotional purposes. No personal information will accompany photos.

Privacy Policy

Camps by KT values your privacy. We collect information to process registrations and improve services. Personal data is protected and not shared with third parties without consent. By using our services, you agree to our privacy practices.
